This will be awarded to an individual who has made a significant impact to the strength of the Solent Maritime Sector.

This individual will have a legacy of achievements that may include having had a positive impact on the regional sector in any or all of the following ways:

How has this person demonstrated sustained leadership that has strengthened a maritime organisation(s) or advanced the region’s maritime capabilities.(Required)

How has this person demonstrated strong leadership in driving the development, expansion or competitiveness of a Solent based maritime business or institution.(Required)

Please note, Finalists of the Maritime Legacy Award – both the nominator and the nominee – will be asked to attend a short online meeting of approximately 40 minutes to hold conversations with the judging panel to explore their application a little further on the morning of 28 August. We would be grateful if you could please hold this date in your diaries on submitting an application for this category, and an invitation will be sent once the shortlist has been confirmed.
