As it celebrates its fifth year of showcasing exceptional achievement, excellence, and innovation, the Maritime Solent Awards open for nominations.
These annual awards are a highlight in the regional maritime sector’s calendar as they reflect on the incredible work the industry undertakes to forge innovation ahead, support emerging talent and bolster its world-class position as a leading hub for maritime excellence.
The awards include categories that recognise the achievements of businesses, innovators introducing new technology, new entrants to the sector, diversity, and an award that celebrates the companies supporting the defence supply chain.
With 13 categories in total, Maritime Solent invites businesses in the regional maritime sector to apply. To be eligible to apply, organisations must be operating and delivering their services in the region covering, the whole of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and the coastal strip from Poole in the west to Chichester in the east – including our two port cities of Portsmouth and Southampton.
Businesses and organisations from across the regional maritime sector are invited to submit nominations.
Maritime Solent exists to champion, connect, and strengthen the Solent region’s maritime sector, ensuring the area remains a world‑leading hub for marine business, innovation, skills, and sustainable growth.

The industry will celebrate the finalists and winners when they’re announced at the Maritime Solent Awards evening at the Hilton Southampton – Utilita Bowl, on Thursday 22 October.
