The Awards evening will be held on 23 October at the Hilton Southampton Utilita Bowl with a black-tie celebration among over 300 industry innovators, thought leaders and emerging talent.
Anne-Marie Mountifield, Chair of Maritime Solent, said: “A heartfelt congratulations to all the Finalists. These Awards demonstrate year after year the level of skill and talent in the Solent region and that is something we can all be very proud of.
“We’re looking forward to seeing as many of the industry as possible at the Awards evening to celebrate and honour the successes of the last year.”
Captain Barry Sadler, a Judge for the Awards, said: “In most of the categories that I was fortunate enough to judge, there was little daylight between the applicants. All were really excellent. Ultimately there can be only one winner in each category but sorting the waves from the swell was a tough but rewarding job.”
Cathy Barnes, PVC Research Academic Strategy and Planning at Southampton Solent University said: “Thank you to Maritime Solent for the privilege of being a judge for their 2025 awards. The calibre of the applicants was extremely high which made our task challenging but demonstrated the quality and innovative nature of the maritime sector here in the Solent. Well done to all the winners!”
