The latest round of UKRI funding for AKTPs is now open. The AKTPs are shorter versions (3 months) of the highly successful Knowledge Transfer Partnership programme which sees industry collaborate with the University to deliver a project in response to a challenge they have identified. The project is delivered through a graduate, who is employed by the University to work directly with the industry partner.
The scheme allows businesses to access up to £35k worth of funding, with a small match funding requirement of £3,500 from the industry partner. It’s a great opportunity for businesses in the region to access funding and the University’s research expertise, with a relatively low investment required by organisations.
